Mary Njoki is the CEO and Founder of Glass House PR Ltd, an award-winning pan-African PR firm headquartered in Kenya that offers custom public relations solutions across Africa. She founded Glass House PR Ltd. in 2012 at the age of 23. She’s an award-winning entrepreneur, a thought leader, a PR professional, an influencer, an innovation supporter, a mentor, a connector, and a leader. She has a background in Mathematics, Business Information Technology, and Public Relations.
As a result of her immense contribution to PR, she has been honored globally. She has also been recognized for her volunteering work in the Marketing and PR industry. Mary has worked with more than 100 organizations, including SMEs/SMBs in Africa, African artists, Facebook, Uber, Viber, Paxful, Nissan, and African governments such as Zanzibar and Ethiopia among others through Glass House PR Ltd. She has mentored entrepreneurs across Africa through “A Billion Startups, a free mentorship programme that educates entrepreneurs about brand visibility and sustainable development.
Furthermore, she has spearheaded the conversation of the future of finance in Africa through the annual ADFS summit “The Africa Digital Finance Summit”, which is held in conjunction with governments, regulators, start-ups, and thought leaders from around the world in the digital finance and decentralized finance industries. In 2016, FOYA Awards named her Founder of the Year, the Daily Nation dubbed her Under 30 and In Charge, and her profile was published in Destiny Magazine in South Africa as an outstanding PR professional in Africa.
She was shortlisted as an innovative African entrepreneur at the 2016 New Orleans Collision Conference and subsequently, the Network One firm in the UK portrayed her as a digital media expert. She also won the Young African Women Leadership Excellence Award from the Center for Economics and Development in Durban, South Africa, in 2017. Amazon Watch magazine featured her as one of the top 40 under 40 leaders in Africa in 2018. In 2019, Forbes listed her as one of the 30 under 30, Top 50 most influential and Inspirational CEO in Kenya in 2024 amongst other accolades.
